As we have already reported, the Chinese company OPPO is preparing to release smartphones of a new sub-brand Reno. Detailed characteristics of one of these devices appeared in the database of the China Telecommunications Equipment Certification Authority (TENAA).
The novelty appears under the designations PCAM00 and PCAT00. The device is equipped with a 6,4-inch AMOLED Full HD + screen with a resolution of 2340 × 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19,5: 9.
The front-facing 16-megapixel camera with flash will extend from the top of the case. Moreover, according to the renders that appeared on the Internet, the developer will use an original mechanism that raises one of the side parts of a rather large module (see images).
At the back there is a dual main camera with 48 million and 5 million pixels sensors. The fingerprint scanner integrated directly into the display area is mentioned.
The “heart” will be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor, which combines eight 64-bit Kryo 360 computing cores with a clock speed of up to 2,2 GHz and an Adreno 616 graphics accelerator. The smartphone will be released in versions with 6 GB and 8 GB of RAM and a flash module with a capacity of 128 GB and 256 GB.
Among other things, Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 5 adapters, a GPS / GLONASS receiver, an FM tuner, a USB Type-C port and a 3,5 mm headphone jack are mentioned. Dimensions - 156,6 × 74,3 × 9,0 mm, weight - 185 grams.
Power will be provided by a battery with a capacity of 3680 mAh. The operating system is ColorOS 6.0 based on Android 9.0 (Pie). The announcement will take place on April 10.
