Rumors: Activision is working on shareware Call of Duty, a replacement for Destiny and remasters of Tony Hawk and Crash Bandicoot

Insider TheGamingRevolution, who previously published correct information regarding Call of Duty: Warzone and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, spoke about the games being developed by Activision, including remasters of Crash Bandicoot and Tony Hawk.

According to an insider, the Sledgehammer Games studio is developing a shareware Call of Duty, which will be released in 2021. The game is currently known under the code name Project: ZEUS. In addition, a multiplayer project in the Crash Bandicoot PvP series is in the works.

TheGamingRevolution also spoke about the updated versions of Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 being developed. It is unknown whether these will be remakes or simply releases with higher resolutions and new features. Also an insider confirmed, that work is underway on a sequel to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

Additionally, with Bungie becoming its own studio, Activision is set to fill the Destiny void with a new game. TheGamingRevolution said that work is underway, but he knows nothing about it.

Recently Activision released Call of Duty: Warzone is a free-to-play battle royale game based on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. The game takes place in the vast city of Verdansk, which has several named zones and more than three hundred points of interest. The map can accommodate up to 150 people, but the developer is considering on increasing the number of fighters to 200. Call of Duty: Warzone is out on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 and supports cross-platform multiplayer.
