The situation has developed in such a way as a result of heated relations between the governments of the United States and China. As it became known earlier, Microsoft expressed its interest in buying TikTok. Now, Apple has reportedly expressed a similar desire. This was announced by Dan Primack (Dan Primack) from the authoritative publication Axios. He stated that information about these intentions of Apple repeatedly came to him from various sources, although no one inside the company officially confirmed it. Note that if Apple does acquire TikTok, it could be the largest acquisition in the history of the company.
It is not yet known how this situation will ultimately be resolved, but there is no doubt that the United States will bring what it started to the end. An example of this is the country's policy towards Huawei, which first lost the ability to use Google services on its devices, and now is experiencing difficulties with the supply of processors for smartphones.
