In a recent post, Asmongold posted a screenshot provided by an anonymous developer from Blizzard. The picture contains a letter to the mentioned employee from the company. The text of the message says that for the work done, he was paid a reward in the form of 100 honor points - the entry-level currency in World of Warcraft, which is issued for participating in PvP battles. Asmongold also clarified that Blizzard considers in-game bonuses to be a salary supplement, and not an additional incentive.

She identified herself as a former Blizzard developer and in a recent post wrote: β€œAt [one of] my financial meetings, I asked a human resources person why employees from other companies in Austin had a pay rise, but ours ($12 an hour) didn’t. I was told that with game keys, Battle.net balance replenishments and 25 years of game time, our salary is doubled, and we should be happy.

With her publication, the girl responded to a Wowhead post that talked about the investigation by Jason Schreier from Bloomberg. Fresh material the reporter talked about how Blizzard is slowly and very reluctantly raising the salaries of its employees.
