While full-blown remakes are unusual for Rockstar, rumors of a remastered version didn't seem all that far-fetched. Unofficial information about Rockstar games appears regularly, which is largely facilitated by the company's policy: management prefers not to talk about its projects before the official announcement, and simply ignores rumors.
