One of the components of the Samsung Galaxy Fold that broke for many reviewers was the hinge: small particles like dust, dirt or hair got into the mechanism, which eventually led to problems with the mechanics. According to the report, Samsung is going to reduce the size of the hinge so that the existing bezel on the device can effectively cover the part and prevent particles from getting inside.
Many reviewers also found that removing the protective film from the screen of the Samsung Galaxy Fold could break the flexible display - later it turned out that this is not a regular protective film, but part of the display itself. Samsung is now going to expand the area of ββthis plastic film so that it adheres to the body of the phone, and consumers can not confuse it with a sticker that should be removed.
All in all, Samsung's idea of ββbringing a smartphone to market in an entirely new format has gotten off to a rocky start.
