Smart watch Honor MagicWatch 2: heart rate sensor, sealed case and AMOLED screen

Honor brand, like was expected, today introduced a new smartwatch - the MagicWatch 2 device, which will be available in 46 mm and 42 mm size options.

The new product is housed in an aircraft-grade stainless steel case. Thanks to its sealed design, the gadget is not afraid of diving under water to a depth of 50 meters.

The set of sensors includes a heart rate (HR) sensor and a GPS/GLONASS satellite navigation system receiver. The watch is able to track changes in heart rate throughout the day, monitor sleep quality and stress levels.

The 46mm model is equipped with a 1,39-inch AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 454 × 454 pixels and a pixel density of 326 PPI (dots per inch). The declared battery life on one battery charge reaches 14 days. Weight is 41 g.

The 42 mm version received a 1,2-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 390 × 390 pixels and a pixel density of 326 PPI. Battery life is up to 7 days. The device weighs 29 g.

The basis is the proprietary Kirin A1 processor. The watch is equipped with a Bluetooth adapter for connecting to a smartphone. The built-in memory is said to store up to 500 music tracks.

Buyers will be able to choose between different designs and different straps. Price - from 179 euros for the younger version and from 189 euros for the older one.
