The published documentation says that the new product will enter the commercial market under the name Galaxy Home Mini. The gadget is coded SM-V310 versus SM-V510 for the Galaxy Home model.
To date, it is known that the Galaxy Home Mini supports Bluetooth 4.2 wireless communication. The smart speaker will work with the Bixby 2.0 intelligent voice assistant.
Samsung will simplify the design of the new smart speaker compared to the Galaxy Home: the gadget will lose a subwoofer and several microphones. This will reduce the price. The device will hit the market in a black color version.
Meanwhile, actual sales of the original version of Galaxy Home have not yet begun. South Korean giant that the smart speaker will be released in March. But itβs the end of April, and the device has not yet appeared in stores.
