Honor 20 appears on Geekbench with 6GB RAM and Android Pie

We are talking about a device codenamed Huawei YAL-L21, which will go on the market under the name Honor 20. Despite the fact that Geekbench data does not reveal the exact model of the processor used, most likely, when creating a new flagship, the developers used the proprietary 8-core Kirin chip 980. In a way, the performance test confirms this conjecture. In single-core mode, the device scored 3241 points, while in multi-core mode this value rose to 9706 points. According to available data, the device will receive 6 GB of RAM, but we cannot exclude the possibility of several models that differ in the size of the built-in drive and the amount of RAM. As a software platform, the mobile OS Android 9.0 Pie is used, which is likely to be supplemented by the proprietary interface EMUI 9.1.

It is possible that during the presentation of Honor 20 a more productive version of the Honor 20 Pro device will be presented. If the original device is equipped with a 6,1-inch OLED display, then the Honor 20 Pro will receive a 6,5-inch screen. It is assumed that both devices will receive a front camera placed in a special hole cut into the display. Earlier it was reported that Honor 20 can get a 3650 mAh battery with support for fast charging.

It is possible that before the official presentation, other details regarding the upcoming release will become known.
