Honor brand, owned by Huawei, will soon release a budget smartphone 8S: the WinFuture resource has released images and data on the characteristics of this device.
The device will be based on the MediaTek Helio A22 processor, which contains four ARM Cortex-A53 computing cores with a clock speed of up to 2,0 GHz. The chip includes an IMG PowerVR graphics accelerator.
Buyers will be able to choose between modifications with 2 GB and 3 GB of RAM. The capacity of the flash module in the first case will be 32 GB, in the second - 64 GB. Additionally, users will be able to install a microSD card.
The screen resolution with a diagonal of 5,71 inches will be 1520 Γ 720 pixels (HD + format). A small waterdrop notch at the top of the display houses the front camera based on a 5-megapixel sensor. The rear camera will receive a 13-megapixel sensor and an LED flash.
The battery capacity is called 3020 mAh. The device will be enclosed in a case with a thickness of 8,45 mm, for which there are several color options.
The Honor 8S smartphone will go on sale with the Android 9.0 Pie operating system, supplemented by a proprietary add-on EMUI 9. The price has not yet been disclosed.
