The Honor V30 5G smartphone with Kirin 990 chip and Android 10 showed its capabilities in Geekbench

The Honor V30 smartphone will be officially presented next week. In anticipation of this event, the device was tested in the Geekbench benchmark, thanks to which some of its features became known before the official announcement.

The Honor V30, known under the code name Huawei OXF-AN10, operates on the Android 10 software platform. It is assumed that the smartphone will have the next version of the Honor Magic user interface, which will receive a number of new functions.

Published data suggests that the proprietary Kirin 990 5G single-chip system is responsible for the performance of the smartphone. This conclusion is made based on the fact that the specified base operating frequency of 1,95 GHz is higher than that of the Kirin 990 (1,89 GHz). During testing, a model with 8 GB of RAM was used. In single-core and multi-core modes, the device scored 3856 and 12 points, respectively.

According to online sources, a more powerful Honor V30 Pro model will be launched simultaneously with the Honor V30. Both smartphones will receive support for fifth generation communication networks (5G). It is also known that the Honor V30 will be equipped with a main camera based on a 60-megapixel sensor. It will be complemented by a 16 MP wide-angle sensor, as well as a 2 MP sensor and a ToF sensor. A more advanced version of the device, in addition to a 60-megapixel sensor, will receive 20 and 8 megapixel sensors, as well as a ToF sensor.

As for the cost of the devices, this information remains unknown, but given the powerful hardware component, we can assume that it will be quite high.
