Earlier, a post appeared on the ExploitWareLabs Facebook page, which provided a list of DNS queries that the P30 Pro makes without the knowledge of the user. The presence of such requests suggests that the smartphone could potentially transfer sensitive user data to Chinese government servers, leaving the owner of the device in the dark.

The published list of DNS queries indicates that the device is accessing the address beian.gov.cn, which is registered by Alibaba Cloud and is controlled by the Ministry of Public Security of China. In addition, the frequent access of the smartphone to china.com.cn, which is registered by the EJEE Group and operated by the China Internet Information Center, was recorded.

ExploitWareLabs notes that requests to Chinese government servers were sent despite the fact that the user did not enable any Huawei services on the smartphone and did not subscribe to the company's services.
