Motorola One Vision smartphone: 6,3″ screen, 25 MP front and 48 MP rear cameras

As expected, at an event in Brazil, Motorola announced One Vision, a new smartphone running the Android One reference platform. It features a 6,3-inch Full HD+ (1080 × 2520) CinemaVision LCD screen with a 21:9 aspect ratio with a circular cutout for the front camera with f/2 aperture and a 25MP Quad Bayer sensor (1,8µm at combining 4 pixels) for clear self-portraits in low light.

The device received a new 10-nm Samsung Exynos 9609 single-chip system (Mali-G72 MP3 graphics, 4 Cortex-A73 cores, 4 Cortex-A53 cores, CPU frequency up to 2,2 GHz) and runs on the Android Pie operating system. The smartphone is equipped with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal flash memory (there is support for microSD).

The phone has a 48-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash and an f/1,7 lens with OIS support. Quad Bayer technology allows you to combine four pixels into one large 1,6 micron pixels for better 12-megapixel images in low light conditions. There is also a 5-megapixel secondary rear camera with f/2,2 aperture for assessing scene depth.

The smartphone is covered with 4D Corning Gorilla Glass on the back, has a gradient finish, and is equipped with a fingerprint scanner on the back. We can also mention support for two SIM cards (one of them can be replaced with microSD), 3,5 mm audio jack, NFC, USB-C, two microphones, a 3500 mAh battery with support for 15 W TurboPower fast charging.

With dimensions of 160,1 × 71,2 × 8,7, the weight of the device is 181 grams. The Motorola One Vision is available in Sapphire Blue and Brown for €299 and will be available in Saudi Arabia and Thailand starting May 16th.
