Chinese smartphone maker OPPO today unveiled a new device called the A33. The phone is very reminiscent of the OPPO A53 presented a month earlier. The difference between the devices lies primarily in the memory configurations and cameras.
OPPO A33 is built on a budget Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 processor, which works in conjunction with 3 GB of RAM. The built-in storage capacity is 32 GB. A distinctive feature of the device is an HD + display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz, which is atypical for devices in this class. The front camera of the smartphone has a resolution of 8 megapixels. The main module consists of one 13-megapixel and two 2-megapixel sensors. The battery capacity of the smartphone is 5000 mAh. The operating system uses Android 10 with a proprietary shell ColorOS 7.2.
The device will go on sale from September 29 at a very attractive price of $155. The presence of a 90Hz screen at this price is quite capable of making the OPPO A33 a very interesting smartphone in the budget price segment.
