Internet sources have published information about the characteristics of the flexible display of the Galaxy Fold 2 smartphone, which Samsung is expected to announce on August 5 along with the devices of the Galaxy Note 20 family.

The first-generation Galaxy Fold smartphone (pictured), a detailed review of which can be found in our material, equipped with a 7,3-inch flexible Dynamic AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2152 Γ— 1536 pixels, as well as an external Super AMOLED screen with a diagonal of 4,6 inches and a resolution of 1680 Γ— 720 pixels.

The Galaxy Fold 2 (unofficial name) will have both panel performance upgrades. So, the size of the internal flexible display will increase to 7,7 inches. Its resolution will be 2213 Γ— 1689 pixels, the aspect ratio is 11,8:9. This panel will have a refresh rate of 120Hz.

At the same time, it is noted that Samsung is forced to abandon the implementation of support for the branded S Pen in the new product.
