The Vivo iQOO Pro 4G smartphone has passed certification: the same flagship, but without 5G

While iQOO, a sub-brand of Vivo, is preparing to release a smartphone in the Chinese market iQOO Pro 5G, The Telecommunications Equipment Certification Authority of China (TENAA) has published information and photos of another smartphone of the same brand - Vivo iQOO Pro 4G.

This is an improved version of a high-end gaming smartphone Vivo iQOO, released in the first quarter of the year. The phone is expected to hit the market tomorrow along with the iQOO Pro 5G.

The certification details report a 6,41-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD+ (2340 x 1080) resolution with an aspect ratio of 19,5:9 and an in-display fingerprint sensor. iQOO Pro 4G will receive an improved 8-core Snapdragon 855 Plus processor with 8 or 12 GB of RAM. The proposed storage capacity options include 128, 256 and 512 GB.

The battery charging capacity will increase by 10% to 4410 mAh. The rear triple camera consists of a main 48-megapixel sensor with additional wide-angle and telephoto lenses with 13-megapixel and 12-megapixel sensors, respectively. The front camera has a resolution of 12 megapixels. The smartphone comes with Android 9 Pie operating system.

iQOO Pro 4G will receive the same iQOO Pro 5G design and characteristics and will differ only in the absence of an advanced cellular module. Due to this, the product will be cheaper: it is reported that its price will be 4498 yuan (~$638) for the basic version with 8/128 GB of memory.
