The Chinese company Huawei has officially unveiled the flagship smartphones Nova 7 5G and Nova 7 Pro 5G, which, as reflected in the name, are capable of operating in fifth-generation mobile networks.
The devices are equipped with a proprietary Kirin 985 5G processor. This chip contains one ARM Cortex-A76 core clocked at 2,58GHz, three ARM Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2,4GHz, and four ARM Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 1,84GHz. The product includes a Mali-G77 GPU and a 5G modem.
Smartphones carry 8 GB of RAM on board. The capacity of the flash drive, depending on the modification, is 128 or 256 GB. There are Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 5.1 LE wireless adapters, a GPS receiver, an NFC controller, and a symmetrical USB Type-C port.
The Nova 7 5G model is equipped with a 6,53-inch FHD+ OLED display with a resolution of 2340 Γ 1080 pixels. There is a small punch-hole for the 32-megapixel selfie camera in the upper left corner of the screen. Dimensions are 160,64 Γ 74,33 Γ 7,96 mm, weight - 180 g.
The Nova 7 Pro 5G version received a 6,57-inch FHD + OLED screen (2340 Γ 1080 pixels) that folds onto the sides of the case. The oblong hole in the display has a dual front camera with sensors for 32 and 8 million pixels. The device weighs 176g and measures 160,36 x 73,74 x 7,98mm.
Both novelties have a quadruple rear camera with a main 64-megapixel module (f / 1,8), two 8-megapixel sensors and a 2-megapixel macro module. The Nova 7 5G version is endowed with 3x optical and 20x digital zoom, the Nova 7 Pro 5G model with 5x and 50x, respectively. An optical stabilization system has been implemented.
Responsible for power is a 4000 mAh battery with support for fast 40-watt SuperCharge charging. The operating system is Android 10 with the add-on EMUI 10.1.
