The company has confirmed that the Redmi Note 8 Pro will feature Samsung's latest 64-megapixel ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor, which is 38% larger than the 48-megapixel sensor used previously. The use of this sensor will allow you to take pictures with a resolution of 9248 × 6936 pixels.
The pixel size in the mentioned sensor is 1,6 microns. Technology has been used to improve the quality of shooting in low light. In addition, the integration of ISOCELL Plus technology allows for higher color accuracy while increasing light sensitivity. In addition, image sensors will be able to use 0,8 micron pixels without loss of performance.
Dual Conversion Gain technology is supported, designed to intelligently adjust light sensitivity depending on the intensity of ambient light. Hybrid 3D HDR will offer up to 100dB of extended dynamic range, resulting in richer colors. By comparison, the dynamic range of a conventional image sensor is about 60 dB.
