Sony showed fast loading PlayStation 5 and hinted at the future of cloud gaming

It's no secret that using a fast SSD drive can significantly increase the speed of downloading content. A demonstration of this was held by Sony representatives as part of a recent meeting with investors. The game Spider-Man (2018) was taken as an example. While the PS4 takes about eight seconds to load a game level, the PS5 (the developer identifies the device as a "next-gen console") completes the task in less than a second. In addition, the PS5 is much better at handling dynamic maps.

The company's representatives also note that for the next three years, PS4 will continue to be an important area, bringing not only profit, but also the first users of the next generation console. While many users are eagerly awaiting the announcement of the PS5's price and release date, Sony has hinted that cloud gaming will soon become an integral part of the industry. The company intends to build on the existing PlayStation Now platform to provide the ability to interact with games and other content in 1080p and beyond.
