Epic Games has announced that the former PlayStation-exclusive detective thriller Heavy Rain will appear in the Epic Games Store on PC. Probably, a year after the release on PC, the game will also visit Steam.
Heavy Rain was developed by Quantic Dream and released on the PlayStation 3 in 2010, and was re-released for the PlayStation 2016 in 4. Interestingly, unlike Detroit: Become Human and Beyond: Two Souls, the rights to Heavy Rain belong to the studio, not Sony interactive entertainment. However, this does not change the fact that the decision to release the game on PC was probably made by the publisher.
