Sony Interactive Entertainment confirmed to the resource
Sony's Manchester division was established in 2015 to work on VR games. The newly formed company was named North West Studio, but later renamed Manchester Studio.
Since its founding, the studio has not managed to release anything - until recently, Manchester Studio was working on some unannounced project for virtual reality helmets.
Sony Interactive Entertainment explained its decision by the desire to increase its own βproductivity and operational efficiency.β Manchester Studio, apparently, was not on track with these plans.
