βMedia Molecule is a great place and I can't imagine making a game anywhere else; but I was wondering, what else is such an old grumbler capable of in this world? Evans explained his decision.
What exactly Evans will do during his break, he has not yet decided: "I have been in this bubble of game development for so long that I do not yet know the next steps or even the prospects that open up for me."
Evans also urged gamers not to worry about the future of gaming tools.
Evans has been with Media Molecule for over 13 years. Before founding the British studio in 2006, the developer worked for the benefit of Lionhead Studios, where he managed to take part in the creation of, for example, Black & White.
