Fedora 32 has been released!

Fedora is a free GNU/Linux distribution developed by Red Hat.
This release contains a large number of changes, including updates to the following components:

  • Gnome 3.36
  • GCC 10
  • Ruby 2.7
  • Python 3.8

Since Python 2 has reached the end of its lifespan, most of its packages have been removed from Fedora, however, the developers are providing the deprecated python27 package for those who still need it.

Also, EarlyOOM is enabled by default in Fedora Workstation, which should have a positive effect on situations associated with a lack of RAM.

You can download the new distribution kit, as well as choose the appropriate edition, from the link: https://getfedora.org/

To upgrade from version 31, run the following commands in the terminal:
sudo dnf upgrade --refresh
sudo dnf install dnf-plugin-system-upgrade
sudo dnf system-upgrade download --releasever=32
sudo dnf system-upgrade reboot
