Sam Barlow, known for the games Her Story and Telling Lies, shared a series of interesting messages. In them, the developer spoke about his intentions to create a spiritual sequel to Silent Hill: Shattered Memories, on which he worked as a lead designer and screenwriter. Now Barlow is actively promoting this idea and cannot share all the details, but he nevertheless published some information.
It all started with the fact that the current head of the studio Half Mermaid Productions about the idea of ββcreating a spiritual sequel to Shattered Memories. By developer, the project is codenamed Project Door Peek. He is not connected with the future Half Mermaid, which, by the way, will also be "creepy".
Then Barlow : "As a clarification, the game is not affiliated with Konami. The impetus [for its creation] comes from: 1) the people who asked me about it; 2) a market that has reached a point where these III games make sense when you look at the accomplishments of Remedy's Control and Kojima [Productions'] Death Stranding."
And in the last message, Sam Barlow replied to the fan that the project is in the AA category, but has AAA elements.
