Most PlayStation 4 exclusives aren't without a photo mode, and the upcoming Days Gone is no exception. On the PlayStation Blog, the developers at Sony Bend told us what to expect from this feature.

According to the director of the project Jeff Ross (Jeff Ross), the action movie boasts a dynamic cycle of day and night and periodically changing weather conditions, therefore, in the photo mode, users wanted to offer as many opportunities as possible. β€œThe main goal for us was to make the players think they are using a real camera in the real world,” explains Ross.

In the "Characters" section, it will be possible to remove or make visible both the people and the motorcycle of the main character, if necessary, change the expressions of the faces caught in the lens. The "Frames" section will offer nine frames, photo decorations, the ability to place the Days Gone logo anywhere and apply one of 18 filters.

Also in the photo mode will allow you to adjust the depth of field, focus and graininess of the image. There will also be a Focus Lock option that allows you to fix the focus on a given point so that it does not change even when the camera is rotated. But this is just the beginning - in the extended version of the photo mode there will be 55 more settings, including blur and color depth. Ross claims that to create the photo mode, the developers invited Hollywood professionals to offer players the tools that are available in popular photo editing programs.

PS4 owners will be able to verify this on April 26, when Days Gone goes on sale.
