IO Interactive studio talked about what new content Hitman 2 fans can expect this year. Almost everything will be available only to owners of the Silver Edition and Gold Edition. The first gives access to the debut content update, and the second gives access to both.
By the end of spring, it is planned to add the Hantu Port map for sniper mode - it will be unlocked by owners of special editions. All players will be able to get a flamingo costume, an El Matador pistol, as well as some valuable items and emotes in the “Ghost” multiplayer mode.
The first major location, The Bank, will appear in the summer, and with it two new missions. Obviously, players will find a lot of challenges, the ability to replay tasks to get higher ranks, and various unlockable content. Owners of both publications will also be able to visit the bank.
But only Gold Edition buyers will be able to try out the autumn update. At the end of the year, both the sniper map The Prison and the large location The Resort with two missions will be prepared. Then they will add a new costume, unique weapons and other bonuses. Throughout the year, Hitman 2 will feature Elusive Objectives, Challenge Sets, Contracts, and more, all of which will be detailed when the time comes.
