TaleWorlds Entertainment also commented on the technical state of the project: “We know that many of you are experiencing problems that prevent you from enjoying the game, so we are very sorry.”

Yesterday the studio released first patch to Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord. The patch freed the action role-playing game from crashes and fixed a loophole in the economic system, but deprived some users of access to save files.

The developers promised to continue to make sure that future updates are compatible with saves from previous versions, but they cannot guarantee 100% protection against loss of progress.

Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord was released on March 30th on Steam Early Access. On the day of launch, the game recorded 178 thousand simultaneous users, and on April 1 - already more than 200 thousand people.

Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord will be in Early Access for "about a year." During this time, the authors promise to add a system of rebellions and kingdom creation, crafting mechanics and other functions, as well as “expand and deepen” existing capabilities.
