The creators of shooter Quantum Error aim to achieve 4K and 60 frames / s on the PlayStation 5

The other day TeamKill Media studio announced shooter Quantum Error is the first game from an independent developer for the PlayStation 5. A small team founded by four brothers in 2016, based in Wyoming. Shortly after the announcement, the developers responded to questions about the game on Twitter.

Quantum Error is a sci-fi first-person shooter with horror elements, which is developed on the Unreal Engine. The announcement trailer features an armed fighter preparing in the dark to face a group of zombie-like creatures.

First of all, gamers were interested in what frame rate and resolution Quantum Error would run on the PlayStation 5. According to TeamKill Media, the team aims to achieve 4K and 60 fps on the next generation console.

PlayStation 5 architect Mark Cerny, at a presentation of the console's capabilities, mentioned the use of ray tracing technology in global illumination, shadows, reflections and sound available to developers. Quantum Error command confirmed, which applies all the listed advantages of the system to the game.

The developer explained that the debut footage of Quantum Error was filmed on a PC with settings in accordance with the power of the PlayStation 5. This does not mean that a computer version of the shooter will be released, but perhaps the project is only a temporary exclusive to the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.

In addition, TeamKill Media revealed that users will be able to purchase a single copy of Quantum Error that will play on both consoles if the developers figure out how to do so.

Prior to Quantum Error, TeamKill Media released the dark fantasy action-adventure Kings of Lorn: The Fall of Ebris on PC and PlayStation 4. The game has 28 reviews in total. Steamand only slightly more than half of them are positive.
