Studio Triternion has decided on the release date of the multiplayer slasher about the Middle Ages Mordhau. The game will be available for purchase at 29 April.
You will find yourself on a medieval battlefield, where up to 64 knights can fight at the same time. According to the developers, you are waiting for a fictional, but at the same time believable world in which "you can experience brutal, satisfying hand-to-hand combat that you will want to return to again and again." Although Mordhau is primarily focused on online duels, you can also play in single player mode.
Fighting against AI-controlled opponents, you will be able to hone your combat skills. Horde mode will offer a cooperative game in which you need to defend against waves of enemies and buy new equipment in between. The now popular battle royale is also promised, when you start the match without equipment, and gradually studying the map, collect armor and weapons, simultaneously destroying all the players you meet. Finally, the Frontline mode is the capture of the flags of the enemy team using siege weapons and horses.
On Steam, the developers have also published the minimum and recommended system requirements for the game. Installation requires 20 GB of free disk space. The price of Mordhau has not yet been announced.
