PNY Technologies has launched the XLR8 CS3030 M.2 2280 NVMe Gen3x4 SSD series for high performance computing applications.
New items, as noted, are suitable for gaming systems. And it can be both desktop and portable PCs. The drives measure 80 x 22 x 2 mm and weigh only 6,6 grams.
As part of the products, 3D Triple-Level Cell (TLC) NAND flash memory microchips are used - the technology provides for the storage of three bits of information in one cell. The family includes models with a capacity of 250 GB and 500 GB, as well as 1 TB.
As reflected in the designation, the novelties refer to NVMe Gen3x4 solutions, which indicates high performance. So, the declared speed of sequential reading of information reaches 3500 MB / s, the speed of sequential writing, depending on the capacity, varies from 1050 to 3000 MB / s.
The drives support SMART monitoring tools and TRIM commands. MTBF (mean time between failures) reaches 2 million hours. Manufacturer's warranty - 5 years.
There is no information on the price of PNY XLR8 CS3030 drives yet.
