This is a 2,5" SATA III SSD based on the Phison S11 controller and equipped with 32MB of SDR cache. It has various tools for diagnostics and monitoring, and the manufacturer provides a three-year warranty for it. In general, this is quite an ordinary solid-state drive, but from not the last manufacturer, which is now sold at a discount for less than $20. Note that the price without a discount is $30, although the price tag has already dropped to $20 before.
But still, a single solid-state drive at a discount in an American store is of little interest to readers of our site. However, here we see a downward trend in the cost of solid state drives. Compared to last year, the price of many SSDs has fallen by half, which cannot but please ordinary consumers. We can also assume that the downward trend in prices will continue, although the pace may slow down. It also suggests that for many ordinary users in the near future, if not already, SSDs may become a complete alternative to hard drives.
