Stable release of Vivaldi 3.5 browser for desktops

Vivaldi Technologies today announced the final release of the Vivaldi 3.5 web browser for personal computers. The browser is being developed by the former developers of the Opera Presto browser, and as their main task they call the creation of a customizable and functional browser that preserves the privacy of user data.

The new version contains the following changes:

  • New view of the grouped tabs list;
  • Customizable context menus of the Express Panel;
  • Added keyboard shortcuts to context menus;
  • Option to open links in the background tab by default;
  • Cloning tabs in the background;
  • Selective disabling of Google services built into the browser;
  • QR code generator in the address bar;
  • Option to permanently display the button for closing tabs;
  • Increased amount of data stored in the basket;
  • Update to Chromium version 87.0.4280.88.

The Vivaldi 3.5 browser is available for Windows, Linux and MacOSX. Key features include a spy and ad blocker, note, history and bookmark managers, private browsing, end-to-end encrypted sync, and many other popular features.
