Lucasfilm chief Kathleen Kennedy has confirmed that the people behind the Star Wars franchise haven't forgotten about Knights of the Old Republic, the fan-favorite video game series. Apparently, there is even a certain project in production, or even more than one.
Speaking to MTV, Kennedy said Lucasfilm keeps thinking about Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. βYes, we are developing something. Right now, I have no idea how it's going to work out, but we have to be careful that [it doesn't feel like too much Star Wars]," she replied.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is a series of role-playing games set in the Star Wars universe. The first part was developed by BioWare, the second by Obsidian Entertainment. The games take place four thousand years before the arrival of the Galactic Empire. The projects helped popularize the Star Wars era, which was not covered in films.
