This is how I started an article published in May 2019 (available
As of January 10, 2020, there are 1735 people on the PMI public registry. Are they all in Russia? No. Are they all certified professionals? No, because you can hide your data in your profile (in any case, I believe that it works, although I didnβt wait for myself to be excluded from the registry - there is a βupdateβ period).
How has the composition changed?
Since the data received for the article is personalized, using Power Query we do a simple check of matches with the data from the article at the end of April, and what do we see?
Condition | Quantity |
---|---|
Perhaps the same | 1482 |
New | 253 |
Gone | 167 |
Perhaps the same (or people with the same data by name and place of residence) people who retained their certificate - 1 people.
People who have earned (and I think itβs fair to call these statuses earned, not received) their certificates since 24.04.2019/253/XNUMX - XNUMX people.
People who did not renew certificates - 167 people.

All 5 people who received their status in 2000 still support its activity.
Since 2001, 1 person has remained, since 2002 - two. In 2003, there were 7 people in the last article, but this year there are 8. Either the person opened the data, or his status was on βpauseβ (after three years, if you did not meet the requirements for renewing the status, you are given a year to update it. If you didnβt have time, take the exam again).
Since 2004, the same people have remained, in 2005 - three have recovered and they became 27 against 24 in the last article, and in 2006 - on the contrary, one of the people who maintain their status disappeared (27 against 28).
The greatest losses among those who were certified 3 and 6 years ago (a cycle and two, respectively - PMI has a three-year βrenewalβ cycle for certificates other than CAPM).
In total, 2019 certificates were received in 249 (and the selection even included 4 certificates received in 2020 - all four passed them on January 9 and all of them are PMPs), of which:
in the first quarter - 61 people;
in the second quarter - 64 people;
in the third quarter - 55 people;
in the fourth quarter - 69 people (admit it, who was afraid of changing the exam?)
Added this year:
6 - CAPM;
220 - PMP;
19 - PMI-ACP;
1 - PMI-PBA;
2 - PMI-RMP;
1 - PMI-SP.
I would like to note that in a year, one person received two extremely rare statuses for Russia and the world as a whole, becoming the owner of 4 PMI certificates at once, this is Dmitry K. from Korolev.
There are now three people with three certificates, and two - there are 62.
Certificate | 2020 | 2019q1 | Change |

PMI-ACP | 63 | 52 | 11 |
PMI-PBA | 2 | 1 | 1 |
PMI-RMP | 4 | 4 | 0 |
PMI-SP | 3 | 4 | -1 |
Capm | 55 | 53 | 2 |
Total | 1800 | 1709 | 91 |
And finally, a couple of graphs based on the collected data.

PS The forecast about more than 200 PMP for 2019 came true!
