On December 28, version 0.20.4 of the popular free planetarium Stellarium was released, which renders a realistic night sky as if you were looking at it with the naked eye, or through binoculars or a telescope.
In total, between versions 0.20.3 and 0.20.4, 95 changes were made, of which we can highlight (major changes):
- Added plugin "Calendars";
- Many changes in the tool "Astronomical calculations" and the core of the planetarium;
- Many changes in plugins;
- Updated catalog of deep sky objects (v3.12);
- Removed plugin "Compass" (plugin functionality is now in the core of the planetarium)
