Blizzard Entertainment has announced that the next major expansion for World of Warcraft's massively multiplayer role-playing game, Shadowlands, will be released on October 27th. However, the developers released a short film about Uther and a trailer announcing the release date.
Otherworlds is the first of four animated featurettes featuring powerful ancient covenants that rule the new zones of the Shadowlands expansion. The paladin of the Silver Hand, Uther the Lightbringer, met his death long ago, but his duty is still unfulfilled: βAfter passing to the afterlife, he was taken under the wing of the ideal of the Bastion Deviya, but it turned out that some of the wounds of the past life are much deeper than she could imagineβ .
On September 3, Blizzard Entertainment will release the animated short film "Otherworlds: Maldraxxus", on September 10 - "Otherworlds: Ardenweald", and on September 17 - "Otherworlds: Revendreth".
And on October 27, the heroes of Azeroth will be able to get through the rift into the Dark Lands. There you can meet many dead characters, powerful ruling factions and an ancient evil that has been imprisoned for centuries. Players will have to conclude a pact with a covenant suitable for the principles and goals and restore balance in the afterlife.
For pre-order now three digital editions of Shadowlands: the basic edition (1699 rubles) includes only a copy of the add-on, but the Heroic Edition (2349 rubles) is more interesting:
- the full version of the Shadowlands add-on;
- character leveling up to the corresponding Shadowlands add-on - pre-order bonus;
- the Enchanted Eternal Serpent mount, which allows you to start a questline that can be completed to earn the Robes of the Eternal Traveler transmog set.
The most expensive edition is the Epic Edition (2999 rubles). It includes the contents of the Heroic Edition, plus:
- anima serpent (pet);
- βPhantom Chillβ decorative effect for weapons;
- return stone with a special effect "Eternal Traveler";
- 30 days of game time.
