Fresh video of Redmi Y3 confirms 4000mAh battery and gradient design
Redmi, owned by Xiaomi, is set to update its self-portrait-focused Y series soon with the Redmi Y3, which will be launched in India on April 24th. Over the previous weeks, we've heard some of the details in the form of rumors and reports directly from the manufacturer.
Redmi India has released several publications, in one of which it presented a promotional video for the future device. Thanks to previous reports, it has become officially known that Redmi Y3 will be equipped with a 32-megapixel camera and a waterdrop notch display. Now, the emphasis is on a significant increase in battery capacity compared to Redmi Y2: the new device will receive a 4000 mAh battery versus 3080 mAh for the previous model. Also on the Amazon.in page, it was confirmed that the device will have splash protection.

According to previous reports and rumors, the rear camera will be dual, a fingerprint scanner will be placed next to it, a single-chip Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 will be used and Wi-Fi 802.11b / g / n will be supported. The novelty will enter the market with the Android 9.0 Pie operating system, and the price will be no more than $200.
The previous model Redmi Y2 was endowed with a 5,99-inch display with a resolution of 1440 Γ 720 pixels and a dual main camera with 12 million and 5 million pixels sensors. Apparently, both parameters will at least not be worse.
