Wired Productions has released a new trailer for The Falconeer, which focuses on the story of this stylish aerial action RPG from indie developer Tomas Sala.
The game takes place in the fantasy world of Great Ursa, which is covered with oceans. Players, sitting on huge armed eagles, will have to surf the endless expanses of air in the world of long-forgotten gods and ancestors. The developer promises a bleak world, militant groups, as well as battles for secrets hidden in the incomprehensible depths of Ursa.
The Falconeer will give you the opportunity to speak on behalf of the perfect air warrior. Unleashing devastating ranged attacks and combining classic aerial combat mechanics with acrobatic moves and tricks, the player will fight against other eagle riders, large hulking airships, flying beetles, deadly dragon-like weavers.
The above video shows both air battles and attacks against floating ships - over the sea and in the middle of bizarre castles and mountains. The weather here is invariably bad and gloomy, but sometimes even it deteriorates, leading to storms on the sea and lightning in the skies.
Thomas Sala is an independent developer and co-founder of Little Chicken Game Company. He is best known to the public for his series of Moonpath to Elsweyr mods for Skyrim, although he has also created projects such as Rekt! (iOS and Switch), SXPD (iOS) and TrackLab (PSVR).
