Team Cherry has updated Hollow Knight for Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series X, and S, and added support for ultra-wide monitors to the PC version.

Following yesterday's announcement during Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase, the original Hollow Knight has arrived on Nintendo Switch 2. Release trailer The port is attached below.

The upgrade is available free to Hollow Knight owners on Nintendo Switch and includes improved performance, higher resolution, and new graphical effects.

A similar update for Hollow Knight received on PS5, Xbox Series X, and S. Those who tried the game through the PS Plus catalog experienced issues with the upgrade—Team Cherry has already contacted Sony to resolve the situation.

Also, Team Cherry released Patch 1.5.12459 for the PC version, which brought support for ultrawide (21:9) and 16:10 monitors to the game, as well as many behind-the-scenes improvements from Hollow Knight: Silksong.

Among other things, 1.5.12459 includes a pause when opening the inventory, an update to the Unity Input System for expanded controller support, performance improvements, and a number of bug fixes.

Hollow Knight debuted in February 2017 on PC (Steam, GOG), and has since appeared on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Series X and S, Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. The game's sales exceed 15 million copies.
