Team Group has announced the MP34 series of high-performance SSDs suitable for use in desktop and laptop computers.
The solutions are in M.2 2280 format, which means that the dimensions are 22 Γ 80 mm. The thickness of the devices is only 3,8 mm.
The drives comply with the NVMe 1.3 standard. This specification describes how SSDs can be accessed using the PCI Express bus (in this case, PCIe 3.0 x4), which ensures high performance.
The Team Group MP34 series includes three models - with a capacity of 256 GB and 512 GB, as well as 1 TB. Guaranteed compatibility with computers running Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems with kernel 2.6.33 and higher.
The declared sequential read speed of information reaches 3000 MB / s, the sequential write speed is 2600 MB / s.
The IOPS (Input/Output Operations Per Second) is up to 190K random reads and up to 160K random writes.
The average declared time between failures (MTBF value) is 1,8 million hours. Drives come with a three-year warranty. The price has not yet been announced.
