Team Group has launched Vulcan SSDs for desktop and laptop use.
New items are made in a 2,5-inch form factor. They are suitable for upgrading systems equipped with traditional hard drives. The interface is Serial ATA 3.0.
The drives are based on 3D NAND flash memory. Implemented support for TRIM commands and SMART monitoring tools Dimensions are 100 Γ 69,9 Γ 7 mm.
The Vulcan SSD family includes three models - 250 GB and 500 GB, as well as 1 TB. The sequential read speed of information for all products reaches 560 MB / s, the sequential write speed is 500 MB / s for the two younger versions and 510 MB / s for the older one.
The number of input / output operations per second (IOPS) when working with data blocks of 4 KB is up to 90 when reading and up to 000 (80 for the older model) when writing.
The average declared time between failures is 1 million hours. The drives come with a three-year warranty. Team Group has not yet disclosed the price.
