Now for sure: Lords of the Fallen 2 will not be released in 2020

The head of the Polish studio CI Games Marek Tyminski (Marek Tyminski) in the framework of conversations with investors confirmed that the long-suffering action RPG Lords of the Fallen 2 will not be released in 2020.

"Of course, it's too early to discuss a sequel Lords of the traps. It will definitely not be released in 2020, but starting next year we plan to gradually increase the quarterly costs for the project,” Tyminski said.

The sequel was announced at December 2014 years, and since then the game has managed to change more than one developer studio. In June 2015, it became known that in production not involved the creators of the original Lords of the Fallen from the German Deck13.

In June 2018 joined the development American Defiant Studios. She worked on the project for almost a year, and in May 2019 was suspended due to the unsatisfactory quality of the game.

Further development of Lords of the Fallen 2 at CI Games decided to continue with the help of internal studios. Earlier, Tyminski said that his company stopped releasing AAA games, so the sequel does not seem to claim the status of a blockbuster.
