The Phoronix resource conducted a series of performance tests of environments based on Ubuntu 20.04 Ubuntu 21.10 and Ubuntu 20.04 in WSL2 pre-release environment Windows 11 22454.1000. The total number of tests was 130, the environment with Ubuntu 20.04 in Windows 11 WSL2 was able to achieve 94% of the performance Ubuntu 20.04, running without layers on bare hardware in the same configuration.
