After eight months of development, a new version 3.0.0 of the advanced editor for LaTeX documents TeXstudio has become available. Among the innovations are the following:
- accelerated analysis of documents, which should reduce the time for their opening;
- spell check is now asynchronous;
- custom syntax highlighting for math and verbatim environments has been abandoned in favor of a cwl-based approach;
- improved support for dark mode;
- building with Qt4 is no longer supported.
