At the Nintendo Direct event at E3 2019, CD Projekt RED for Nintendo Switch. At the same time, the audience was shown only a short teaser, assembled from game clips. The gameplay was not shown and did not talk about the technical component.
Soon, the developers announced at what resolution the game is being launched on the hybrid platform. One user asked the official Twitter account of The Witcher franchise about this. Representatives of CD Projekt RED bluntly: "In portable mode - 540p, and in dynamic resolution up to 720p when using the console in stationary mode."
For a hybrid Nintendo console, these are quite normal figures, given the scale of the project, but itβs too early to judge the quality before the official gameplay show.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will release on Switch sometime in 2019, no exact date has been announced yet. The transfer to the platform is carried out by Saber Interactive studio, the project will be released complete with all additions.
