Thermalright has expanded its range of computer cooling fans with the new TY-121BP. The novelty stands out for its ability to provide increased static airflow pressure, due to which it is better suited for liquid cooling radiators with dense fins. Yes, and to replace the fans of the air cooler, the novelty is also suitable.
The TY-121BP fan is made in a standard 120mm format and is 25mm thick. It is built on a hydrodynamic bearing, which, according to the developers, will provide more than 40 hours of operation for the device.
The novelty supports PWM speed control in the range from 600 to 1800 rpm, thereby providing an air flow from 25,76 to 77,28 cubic feet per minute (CFM). The noise level of TY-121BP is 19 to 25 dBA. Unfortunately, the value of the static pressure of the air flow is not specified, but it is said that it is very high.
There are rubber inserts at the corners of the mounting frame of the novelty, which should reduce the level of vibration, and, accordingly, the noise during operation of the fan. The Thermalright TY-121BP fan will be available shortly for $20.
