But new outbreaks are emerging in other regions of the world, including South Korea, Italy and Iran. Therefore, it is too early to talk about the victory over the coronavirus, just as it is not clear how its further spread will affect the global economy.
Apparently, Tim Cook's comments are intended mainly to reassure investors of the firm's business foundation, as shares of Apple and other companies have tumbled in recent days amid ongoing coronavirus worries.
