Tor 0.4.3.5 is the first stable release in the 0.4.3.x series. This series has added:
- Ability to assemble without support for repeater mode.
- OnionBalance support for V3 onion services,
- Significant improvements in the functionality of the tor controller.
According to the current support policy, each stable series is supported for nine months, or for three months from the release of the next one (whichever is longer). So, the new series will be supported until at least February 2021.
Bugs fixed in the release:
- Fixed Clang 10 fallthrough warnings in GCC style ("/* falls through */").
- Fixed truncation of ipv6 addresses in the tor event log.
- Fixed missing messages about invalid onion addresses. Previously, the output of the address verification result was never performed.
