Toyota to open green technology research institute in China

This was during a speech at Xinhua University said the President and CEO of Toyota Akio Toyoda (Akio Toyoda). He also said that the Japanese automaker will continue to share its own technology with China. First of all, this is due to the desire of Toyota to expand its business in the Middle Kingdom, for which in the future it will increase its production capacity.

It is known that the new research institute will be engaged in the creation of automotive technologies that can affect the improvement of the environmental situation in China. In addition to creating systems for the consumer automotive market, the researchers will develop technologies based on hydrogen fuel, due to which it will be possible to solve the acute problem of energy shortage in the country.

It is worth noting that the creation of a research center is fully consistent with Toyota's policy. Recall that not so long ago the company opened access to 24 own patents for everyone. It was also announced that the company will supply second-level hybrid systems to dozens of companies with contracts already signed.
