It should be noted that last year the four firms that are part of Toyota Motor, including DENSO, have created joint venture to develop technologies for self-driving vehicles.

In addition, Toyota and DENSO are collaborating on electrified vehicles.

The new partnership will help Toyota Motor strengthen its position in the fast-growing next-generation vehicle market.
